One of mine and my daughter’s favorite kid friendly website is Disney’s Toontown.  In Toontown you get to create your very own cartoon character that you can use to fight against the cogs that are trying to take over Toontown.   The cogs are cartoon style robots that you defeat by throwing cartoonish gags at such as pies, squirting flowers, anvils, and such.  As your experience level increases so does the strength of the gags you’ll be able to use on them.  Your character will start out with two different gag tracks, and as you progress through the game you get to add other gag tracks to your list of ammo to be used against the cogs.  This is a paid website, but you can play a very limited version of the game without paying.

Another website we just love playing on together is Neopets, where you get to pick out your very own virtual pet that you can take care of.  This one is absolutely free to play, but you can also add money to your account on this site in order to get items out of the Neocash Store that are for paying members only.  Personally as of yet, I haven’t taken them up on this and we play on this site on a regular basis.  What’s so neat about this site is the variety of different types of games they have here that you can play, and they’re constantly adding new games to the site.  Two of my favorite games are “Typing Terror” and “The Castle of Eliv Thade”.
