Neopets is a wonderful website for those of us that don’t have the time or energy to dedicate to a real pet.  In this virtual reality world, you get to choose from a number of different species that you can have as your very own virtual pet.  Then once you’ve chosen your pet, you get to name her, decide what color you’d like them to be, and voile you’re now a pet owner.

Then once you’ve gotten that all set-up, it’s time to start taking care of your pet.  You’ll need to make sure to feed it and to play with it.  There are several different ways you can go about getting food for your new pet.  The first way is to go play any of the numerous games available on the site that allows you to earn neopoints.  Then with your neopoints you can go to the various different food places you find and buy food for your pet.

Another way to get food for your pet is to go to the Tyrannian Plateau and find the Giant Omelet area.  Once there, hit the Giant Omelet. This allows you to get a free omelet.  But you’re only allowed one free omelet a day, and be wary of the omelets you find here.  Some of the omelets are “spoiled”, and this can make your pet sick.  If this happens then you’ll have to go to the pharmacy to buy medicine for your pet to make him healthy again.  But beware; some of the medicines are really hard to come by.  This is just two of the ways you can go about getting food for your pet.
