Halloween is here and gone, but did you ever stop to think how Halloween and all the trick-or-treaters might affect your dog?  Personally, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays but I never took the time to consider how it might affect my neighbor’s dogs.  For example, all the spooky trick-or-treaters just might scare your dog into bolting right out the front door if they’re not used to all the scary costumes and the little ones coming up to your door.  Then on the other hand, your dog just might be a little frightening to all the little ones coming up to your door with all the barking going on.  So you just might want to consider having your dog set-up comfortably in a room away from all the trick-or-treaters.
