ToonTown is a virtual reality game that is set in a cartoon like setting; even defeating the cogs in ToonTown is done with cartoonish type gags like cream pies, dropping anvils or pianos, or squirting flowers.  As you level up your toon and earn more exp. from fighting the cogs the better your gags get.  Each time you earn a new gag it takes a bit more fighting experience to get to that next gag.  You will start out with two different gag tracks: throw gag track and squirt gag track.  Then when you’re ready for some new gags you have the option of getting new gags by starting “Gag Track Training”.  The way you do this is by accepting this as one of your ToonTask.

But gaining new gags is not the only reward you can receive from doing ToonTasks.  The other things you can earn are more LaffBoosts, Teleport Access, a larger gag pouch, a large jelly bean jar, the ability to carry more ToonTasks, just earning more jelly beans, changing your look, or clothing item tickets.  Each of the rewards has different advantages, it just depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.  For example, if you want to be able to last longer in a fight you’ll want to work on earning more LaffBoosts and a larger gag pouch because laff points are your life line and gags are what you use to fight the cogs with.  Teleport Access is also a good one to have because it allows you to get around ToonTown various neighborhoods a lot faster!!  You just might want to check it out; you can start off with a free trial account.
